Dear Daniel,

thanks for pointing us to this beautiful paper of Deqing Sun et al.  I
am running through many of the issues described there and it makes me
very happy to see them explained in such a clear way.

On the other hand, you can find our "exact" implementation of
Horn&Schunck in the code "hatchery", and try it online for some simple
images at http://dev.ipol.im/~coco/ipol_demo/flow/ .  It is the
algorithm named "ipolhs".
