Hi,
I created an altmetrics ImpactStory profile page for IPOL articles and
preprints: http://impactstory.org/IPOL_Journal
You can see there how theses articles and web oages are cites, saved
and discussed in online places like twitter, facebook, scopus,
delicious, citeulike, wikipedia, figshare, mendeley, ...
It provides some alternative to the impact factor metrics.
PS: to help your articles have more impact, you can
- mention them in (science-related) websites, forums and social
networks;
- be careful to always use the same and correct title and URL (DOI
is the best solution);
- always point to the article page, not to PDF file, code or demo page.
PPS: This ImpactStory service is experimental and incomplete. The IPOL
profile page will not be updated in real time with new articles.
