No, it means that the company is buying the right to use this code
under other conditions. Authors (or more exactly the rights owners)
can always redistribute their work under new conditions. Here they
would redistribute their code privately to the company under contract
terms saying how the company can use it.

That's it. It does not impact the code available in IPOL in any way.
