Hi Miguel,

I want to remind that that the ipol demo system is a DEMO, a
demonstration tool. It is not supposed to be an online image
processing system, it will probsbly not be suitable for realistic data
size.

So it is perfectly OK to limit the input size to use acceptable
time and resources. The data must be adapted to the on-line demo
interface, not the other way. The main way tu use an algorithm on
real-size data is and will always be to get the code, compile it and
run locally on your laptop, server or cluster.

But if you are talking about more than 4G to process an image, it
looks huge to me. What is the typical image size? 2M pixels? 2K bytes
of temporary information per pixel, I think it is really a lot.
