Hi everyone,
I was at the ICERM workshop on Reproducibility in Computational and
Experimental Mathematics.
-> http://icerm.brown.edu/tw12-5-rcem)
It was a very interesting meeting, gathering researchers who use (and
need) computer to perform their science. Applied maths were well
represented, with also people from computational biology and
computer-assisted maths.
You can find lots of presentation materials from this meeting on its
web page, and on this wiki page too.

A final report is being written. You can read the current draft version
to get an idea of the discussions

I also come back with some suggestions for IPOL:
* Articles should ALWAYS mention the software they used in the
reference section, in order to gradually help software be recognized
as science. When I say "software", I mean codes and libraries, not
software tools like compilers and editors. For the moment there is
no established standard format for these references, so we will need
to be creative.
* We need to standardize the list of informations needed when the
performances of a code is mentioned: system, compiler and options,
processor, etc.
And finally, it was announced at this workshop that SIAM and ACM
supplementary material policies will be updated in 2013, to provide a
better place for software with a correct copyright policy.
